Funding & Independence

Nobody pays us to tell you a supplement works.

Men’s health publishing runs largely on supplement money, which is precisely why so much of it reaches conclusions the evidence does not support. Here is how this site is funded, stated plainly and checkable.

Where we stand today

As of the last update to this page, Health Density carries no advertising, no sponsored content, and no affiliate links. Not one article on this site earns money when you buy something we mention.

That is a verifiable claim rather than a slogan. Every outbound link on the site points to a research database, a national health body, an academic medical centre or a professional association: sources such as PubMed, the NIH, Harvard Health, Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic. There are no retailer links to check, because there are none.

Why this matters more than usual here. A large share of our supplement coverage concludes that the product does not work. Testosterone boosters, fat burners, greens powders and most joint supplements all get an unfavourable verdict. Those conclusions are commercially inconvenient, which is exactly why we can only publish them while nobody is paying us.

If that ever changes

A site of this size may eventually need revenue to keep going. If it does, these rules apply, and this page will be updated before anything appears.

Disclosure before you read

Any commercial relationship is disclosed at the top of the page it affects, not buried in a footer. You will know before you read the verdict, not after.

Editorial decides, always

No advertiser, sponsor or partner gets to see an article before publication, request a change, or influence a conclusion. Assessments are made on the evidence, full stop.

No pay-for-verdict, ever

We will not accept payment in exchange for coverage or for a positive assessment, under any arrangement or wording. This one is not negotiable.

Recommendations stay evidence-led

If we ever earn from a link, the product still has to earn the recommendation on the research. An affiliate relationship would never turn a “probably not” into a “yes”.

Common questions

Do you accept guest posts or sponsored articles?

No. We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles, paid link insertions, or “collaborations” that amount to advertising. Requests of this kind are declined regardless of the offer.

Do you accept free products for review?

We do not currently run product reviews of the sort that require samples. If that changes, receipt of a free product would be disclosed on the article, and would not entitle the sender to a favourable assessment or to see the piece in advance.

Do you sell reader data?

No. Our privacy policy sets out what is collected and why. Newsletter subscribers are not sold or passed to third parties.

Who owns Health Density?

Health Density is independently owned and operated. It is not part of a supplement company, a clinic group, or a media network, and no outside party holds editorial influence over what we publish.

How can I check any of this?

Open any article and look at the sources at the foot of it, then follow the outbound links. You will find research databases and health institutions, not shops. If you ever find a commercial link we have not disclosed, please report it and we will treat it as a correction.

Our commitment

The reason to read a men’s health site is that it will tell you when something does not work. That is only possible if the site has nothing to lose by saying so. Keeping this page true is how we protect that.

Independence you can verify

Do not take it on trust. Follow the citations and see where they go.
